LUZI AG, a fragrance company based in Dietlikon, Zurich, has launched a new range of five eco-friendly fragrances using only sustainable materials. Named Beach Walk, Circle of Life, Nature’s Cradle, Horizon Gold, and Circular Care, these fragrances are made from ingredients that do not harm the environment. They can also be fully reintegrated back into nature or reused technically, aligning with the principles of the circular economy.
The fragrances are created using the LUZI Circular Toolbox, a set of raw materials that meet the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) standards. This toolbox is the first of its kind in the fragrance industry and emphasizes LUZI’s commitment to environmentally friendly production. The toolbox itself has earned a Gold level C2C Certified Material Health Certificate, verifying that the materials are safe and sustainable.
LUZI was supported by epeaswitzerland, a certified assessor for C2C certification, located in Bäch, Schwyz. This collaboration highlights the company’s dedication to sustainability and its impact on producing fragrances that are good for the planet.
This approach differs from traditional manufacturing, which often results in waste, sometimes toxic. By focusing on a circular model, LUZI ensures that all materials are reusable and contribute positively to environmental health.
