Swiss Climate Scores: Will they bite?
In order to establish Switzerland’s position as an international leader of credible climate transparency, the Federal Council launched the Swiss Climate Scores in June 2022.
Is Switzerland on track to achieve its climate targets by 2030?
Under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Switzerland has a commitment to achieve at least 50% reduction of its greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) below 1990 levels by 2030. This amounts to an absolute reduction of GHGs by 38% over the period 2021–2030.
