Kälin, the founder of Epeaswitzerland in 2009, and his team received recognition for their dedication to fostering sustainable practices, surpassing their achievements from the previous year.

Albin Kaelin earned distinctions such as Best CEO of the Year from M&A Today Global Awards, Global 100, Corporate America Today, and Lawyers International 100. Additionally, Acquisition International recognized him as the Best Specialist in Cradle to Cradle Products & Services in 2023. Kälin was featured in Fortune’s Crown list of Most Innovative Technology Leaders to Watch in 2023.

Acknowledged at the Global Sustainability & ESG Awards 2023 by The European, Kälin was named Best CEO in the Textile Manufacturing Industry. Other accolades included Most Innovative CEO of the Year and Leader of the Year, the latter being a result of CEO Today Europe’s vote.

Looking ahead, six awards for 2024 have already been announced, with Corporate America Today recognizing Albin Kälin as Best CEO of the Year in Europe. Based in Bäch, in the canton of Schwyz, Epeaswitzerland, guided by Kaelin, serves as an accredited assessor for the Cradle to Cradle Certified certification standard, supporting companies in adopting circular economy practices. Kaelin is set to release a new book in spring 2024, providing practical examples of successful corporate transitions toward the circular economy.
