SUSI Partners, based in Zug, has recently entered into an agreement with Alba Renewables, a company based in Singapore. This agreement entails SUSI Partners providing support for the creation of a renewable energy platform in the Philippines. The focus of this platform will be on generating energy from sustainable sources in the region.
Through this agreement, SUSI Partners will be directing its investments towards specific projects over the next two years using the SUSI Asia Energy Transition Fund. The aim is to fund the construction of various projects related to renewable energy. Alba Renewables will benefit from this partnership by being able to enhance its capabilities in both development and operations.
This collaboration is expected to expedite the deployment of capital from the SUSI Asia Energy Transition Fund. Due to a robust pipeline of projects, the fund has been reopened until September 2024. Currently, the fund has six investments concentrated on driving the energy transition in Asia.
