Holcim has partnered with Climate Earth to expand the use of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) globally. The collaboration aims to certify Holcim’s low-carbon concrete and cement solutions using Climate Earth’s EPD GeneratorTM digital platform.

The platform will be made compliant with worldwide EPD standards and extended to cover cement material solutions. Holcim has already certified its cement portfolio in Germany and plans to expand certification to other countries.

EPDs play a crucial role in promoting low-carbon demand by providing independent verification of a product’s environmental profile. Holcim aims to accelerate the validation of its low-carbon solutions by expanding the global availability of Climate Earth’s EPD GeneratorTM.

The partnership reflects Holcim’s commitment to transparency and its journey toward net-zero emissions. Climate Earth is a leading provider of digital EPDs for the concrete industry, having generated over 50,000 third-party verified EPDs for ready-mix concrete.
